Sea freight
Sea Freight
Sea freight is the most economical way to move heavy or bulky cargo out of the UK. Book a full container for volume, or share one with other consignments when you have less to send.
What's included
How our sea freight works
FCL — full container load
Your own 20ft or 40ft container, sealed at loading, ideal for larger volumes and sensitive cargo.
LCL — shared container
Pay only for the space you use when your consignment doesn't justify a full container.
Documentation and customs
Bill of lading, commercial invoice and packing list prepared, with guidance for clearance at destination.
Inland haulage
UK collection to the port and onward delivery at destination, arranged as part of the booking.
Best suited to
- Heavy, bulky or palletised consignments
- Barrels, boxes and household goods
- Building materials and machinery
- Regular commercial stock replenishment
- Shipments where cost matters more than speed
